Gamescom Asia and Thailand Game Show announce ‘World of Gaming’ lineup

At a press conference held today, gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show unveiled this year’s official theme: “World of Gaming,” an epic festival that promises to deliver the ultimate gaming experience right in the heart of Bangkok.

As the ultimate business platform for the games industry and the region’s leading consumer gaming show, gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show will feature two distinct exhibition areas—business and entertainment—designed to cover every dimension of the gaming ecosystem.

The entertainment area delivers blockbuster showcases, streamer challenges, an indie area, and live performances on the main stage (17–19 October)

The entertainment area will offer fans a truly immersive gaming experience across three exciting days. Visitors can look forward to a dynamic lineup of showcases, hands-on gameplay, and live stage action.Visitors can enjoy:

  • Anticipated game showcases from top gaming companies including Platinum Sponsors Synnex and GeForce Now by bro.game, as well as 4Divinity, Amazing Seasun, Bandai Namco Entertainment, CAPCOM, Daedalic Entertainment, HoYoverse, Mytona, Nintendo, Razer Game Services, Staika, The Pokémon Company, Ubisoft, Ukiyo Studios, VNGGames & NCV Games, Thermite Games and XBOX, among many.

Fan Activities and Stage Highlights

  • Live tournaments including the Zone Zean Game Challenge, spotlighting a Street Fighter 6 tournament with a 30,000 THB (approx. USD 930) cash prize, and esports tournaments hosted by major partners.
  • Meet-and-greets with beloved gaming creators, voice actors, and top-tier cosplayers.
  • The Thailand Game Award ceremony celebrating local and regional game talent.
    A Cosplay competition with prizes totaling over 300,000 THB (approx. USD 9,300).
  • The Main Stage will host nonstop content and fan-favorite segments over all three days, with live performances, gaming challenges, and surprise appearances.

Adding to the excitement, this year’s event theme song is composed by the acclaimed Amm Atchariya, best known for the Thailand Game Show 2018 soundtrack. The new track will be performed live by Jannine “Ploychompoo” Weigel on the Main Stage.

gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show business area drives global industry conversations and partnerships (16–17 October)

The business area will welcome publishers, developers, investors, and service providers from around the world. Industry professionals can expect unmatched opportunities for B2B networking, partnership-building, and trendspotting. 

A key highlight of the gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show conference is a headline session featuring Glen Schofield — veteran game designer of Dead Space, Call of Duty, and The Callisto Protocol and founder of Sledgehammer Games. Ideas are the lifeblood of the game industry, and his talk will delve into 10 ways he finds inspiration and comes up with them.
