Genesis mediaCom launches 15 initiatives to boost Thai education

Genesis MediaCom launches 15 strategic initiatives to transform education and empower people in Thailand.

Witaya Mitsattha, Managing Director of Genesis MediaCom said Education and human development remain the cornerstone of national progress. As Thailand navigates the challenges of a rapidly evolving world, a comprehensive transformation—spanning digital infrastructure, curriculum modernization, and skills development—is imperative to equip citizens with the tools for lifelong success. Investing in people, after all, is the most valuable investment for the country’s future.

Addressing Key Challenges in Thai Education

Thailand’s education system faces several pressing issues:

  • Educational Inequality: Many schools, particularly in remote areas, lack proper infrastructure, high-speed internet, digital tools, and modern learning materials.
  • Outdated Curriculum: Rote memorization remains dominant, with insufficient emphasis on 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and digital literacy.
  • Inefficient Educational Management: Frequent policy shifts, budget constraints, and inflexible systems hinder the ability of school administrators to improve educational quality.
  • Limited Parental Engagement: Weak school-parent communication prevents families from effectively supporting children’s learning journeys.

15 Strategies for Educational Transformation

To tackle these challenges, Genesis MediaCom has unveiled 15 strategic initiatives designed to modernize and enhance Thailand’s education system:

  1. Upgrade Digital Infrastructure – Implement high-speed internet, interactive smart displays, and Makerspaces to foster hands-on and collaborative learning.

A Bold Step Toward a Knowledge-Based Society

Educational transformation requires more than technological upgrades—it necessitates a paradigm shift in mindset. The impact must start at the individual and family level, extending to schools, communities, and society as a whole.

“Investing in people is the most powerful investment a nation can make. Change begins with individuals and extends to families, schools, and society. Leveraging digital tools is the most effective way to bridge educational gaps and create equal opportunities for all”
