Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (AIS) reported a strong financial performance for the second quarter of 2025, with total revenue of 56,044 million baht and a net profit of 10,982 million baht. The results underscore the company’s position as a leading Cognitive Tech-Co, focused on strengthening its core digital infrastructure and delivering high-quality services.
The positive performance was driven by continued growth in its key business segments, with a focus on expanding its high-speed 5G network, nationwide home broadband services, and enterprise solutions.
Mobile and Broadband Businesses Show Steady Growth
- Mobile Business: The company’s mobile subscriber base reached 46 million, with 5G users increasing by 1.2 million this quarter to a total of 13.9 million. Following the acquisition of the 2100 MHz spectrum license from the NBTC, AIS now holds the most spectrum in Thailand, with a network covering over 95% of the population.
- Broadband Business: AIS maintained its leadership in the home broadband market, adding 67,900 new subscribers to reach a total of 5.14 million. This growth reflects strong consumer confidence in the company’s services, which include a wide array of entertainment content and innovative solutions for both residential and commercial clients.
Enterprise Revenue Jumps 17%, Paving the Way for AI Adoption
Enterprise Business: AIS saw a 17% year-on-year increase in revenue from its enterprise segment. The company is actively supporting the digital transformation of Thai businesses by launching “AIS Cloud powered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure,” the country’s first Hyperscale Cloud with a data center located in Thailand. This offering provides a comprehensive platform for both public and private sector organizations to leverage AI technologies effectively.
