Facebook Thailand today announced the launch of its Digital Communication for Impact program, co-organized with ChangeFusion, as part of its ongoing investment in and support of Thai leaders who are working on various social issues and using Facebook tools to further their social development efforts.
Facebook Thailand’s program aims to support Thailand’s social impact and developmental sector including nonprofit organizations, charities, social enterprises, and civil society organizations, who have been forced to adjust and adapt their communications and connection with their communities during the pandemic, to access the digital tools and skills needed to continue their important work.
The program will kick off with a series of free training sessions for over 500 Thais in the social impact sector titled ‘Digital Class for the Impactor’, held on March 11, 18, and 25 from 9:00 to 12:00hrs Thailand time, in Thai language or with simultaneous translation for English-speaking trainers.
The training sessions, which can be registered for here, will cover best practices for using Facebook to connect with communities; an overview of Facebook’s Community Standards; building with Facebook Groups; an introduction to Facebook Ads, and Data for Good.
Following the training, Facebook Thailand will select 12 organizations or individuals to participate in an incubator beginning in June 2022 to learn from experts and specialists about how to use Facebook tools to strengthen their community and help them create real impact. Selected organizations will also receive THB 30,000 in ad support.
